Newly designed wave guide and phase plug give the system a broad and even sound dispersion. This makes it possible for everyone in the room to enjoy perfectly intelligible speech and true-to-life stereo no matter where they're sitting.

2-way system

Our engineers here in Berlin constructed the Theater 500s specially to have a cutoff frequency outside the range used by the human voice or any typical instruments to produce an incredibly authentic sound. Then, we perfected the Theater 500S with Klippel laser measuring to detect even the finest inaccuracies in the diaphragm's vibration curve and smooth them out.

Noise reduction

We kept frequency crossover very simple to counteract any possible phase shifts. This results in an incredibly balanced soundstage. At the same time the mid/bass driver can put out booming bass at hair-raising volumes thanks to its high durability. In fact, the Theater 500s is one of the bassiest bookshelf speakers on the market.
